This photograph stands out to me because it means that the dry weather and dust is killing animals. Arthur Rothstein took this photo to show us how harmful the dust was. Arthur Rothstein was born July 17, 1915, so he was alive during the Dust Bowl. Rothstein was known for his photography. He was an American Photojournalist who grew up in the Bronx, New York. He went to Columbia University. He died on November 11, 1985, age 70. This photo represents the time of the Dust Bowl because a lot of animals died during this time because of the dust building up in their lungs. It represents to me that the dust was that bad that it killed big animals like bulls and cows. A bull is in this picture. The image is of a bull's skull that is laying on the dry hard ground. I don't think I personally relate to these pictures.
