I scrolled through the family pictures and saw people in camps, and I thought that was sad, so I chose happy pictures, the little boy and girl smiling, the teenagers smiling, and a father with his daughter, smiling.
- In comparing these photos, how do they show the similarities between you, your family, or your community and those in the researched photos? My family is normally happy, we take a lot of pictures where we are smiling.
- What do these photos, yours and the researched ones, tell you about Jewish life in Europe before World War II? My family is always smiling in our pictures.
